The staff at the James River Park consists of two maintenance workers and one manager/naturalist. These three people work year-round. There is also a seasonal employee who only works during the summer. In the fall and the spring, there are usually one or two park interns who study park management, maintenance and program presentation. A great deal of work is done by volunteers; schools, clubs, businesses, etc.
