All sections * of the James River Park are open during the daylight hours and closed at dark except Ancarrow's Boat Ramp and Great Shiplock Park. The first area is for motor boats to enter and exit the water, both are used for night fishing. Parking is available at these locations at all times - all other parking facilities close at dark.
